Mindfulness Meditation and Stress Reduction

This 6-week Mindfulness Meditation course consists of weekly 1.5 hour sessions in which you will learn the essential principles and practices of mindfulness. You will participate in guided meditations, group dialogue and will receive individually tailored instructions and home assignments that will provide you with the techniques that will enable you to experience the wide-ranging benefits of mindfulness well beyond the course.

This group is focused on coping strategies, acceptance, developing emotional intelligence, resilience, and real connection. The teens attending the group will have differing mental health struggles, but will never be compelled to share with the group any specifics of their situation, unless they want to.
