
Mindfulness is a mental state achieved by focusing one's awareness on the present moment, while calmly acknowledging and accepting one's feelings, thoughts, and bodily sensations, used as a therapeutic technique.Mindfulness for Teens is a therapy group that will teach mindfulness skills to help deal with stress, anxiety, depression, and anger feelings. This group will provide a supportive environment that will help to increase teens self esteem, self awareness, and self worth.
