About

FOR individuals facing a medical illness and the healthcare workers and loved ones caring for them. I understand. You just want to feel like yourself again, strong, energized, passionate, carefree. But you struggle with physical symptoms, like pain or fatigue, as well as the resulting emotional stress, all of which prevent you from enjoying the things in life that you used to. You’re tired of feeling overwhelmed by the never ending to do list and exhausted by the feeling that you can never catch up. You’re scared about the future and afraid of what people might think if you begin to talk about it. You just want to find some relief.
Hi, I'm Catherine, Art Therapist with HeartSpace Wellness Studio. Since 2007, I've been helping my clients engage in their own art making, creativity, and discussion as a way to find ease. I can guide you in art making, mindfulness, and yoga to help relieve anxiety & depression, restore your energy, and discover ways to leave you feeling like yourself again.
It is my mission to help you navigate this stressful time in your life and find the tools from within to leave you feeling calm, capable, and confident. To learn more, schedule a free, 20 minute consultation by clicking the “Schedule a Session” link on my website HeartSpaceWellnessStudio.com or email at HeartSpaceNashville@gmail.com.

First Friday Virtual Art & Mindfulness Workshop

Are you thinking about starting a regular mindfulness practice? Maybe you've heard about the benefits, and you've tried the apps and recordings. But you're finding it hard to sit still and truly connect to the practice. HeartSpace Wellness Studio Art & Mindfulness Workshops provide a space to practice and experience the benefits of mindful attention through different outlets other than formal meditation. Through these workshops, we explore how art making, movement, and writing can all be meditative activities that help promote ease within the moment as well as health and well-being long-term.

Mindful Self-Compassion Workshop for Parents

It's natural as parents to want the best for our children. We want to create loving, safe, fun home environments. Yet sometimes, the best of intentions can feel impossible to obtain. In this 4-class series, we will explore how to effectively care for yourself so you can better care for your children by combining the practice of mindful self-compassion with art making, music, writing, and yoga. From participating in the series, not only will you leave with specific tools for caring for yourself, but ways to be more present and connected with your children as well.
