This group id designed for individual who are in the recovery stage of their victimization of sexual assault. Groups will continue for 8 weeks and then will re-asses how the group as a whole would like to proceed. Once this group starts it is considered a closed group, (no new members for the duration of 8 weeks) The group will concentrate on the lesson taught and material written by author Melody Beatie teachings of Codependent No More and the New Codependency. Acudetox, (auricular acupuncture), is a very effective method to support individuals as they work toward sobriety. Research shows that painful emotions create cravings for substances, whether it's use, abuse,
or dependence as a way to avoid emotions. Acudetox, as an adjunct therapy along with other treatment approaches, helps provide an emotional calm and sense of centered well-being, helping individuals in the journey toward healthy living.

Her first marriage of 22 years was this very experience. This has brought her to a point of wanting to help others in this situation. Shirley has done many of her continuing education hours focused on this issue. You will find her professionally trained and personally experienced as she leads you through a healing process.
