Trauma Focused Support Groups in Kalamazoo, MI

After the Fire is a virtual group for people navigating the aftermath of break of trust. Drawing on ecological succession - the process by which ecosystems recover after wildfires- this group offers a compassionate framework for healing. Participants are invited to slow down and examine what truly changed after the rupture, in order to craft a loving path for the future. Through guided reflection & gentle dialogue, participants learn to distinguish early stabilization from deeper intimacy, and to release unrealistic expectations about “going back to how things were.” Tuesdays and Thursdays in April $350/participant- register: www.curando.info under *bookings* page

Brain Body Therapy Group offers an Intensive Outpatient Program. Research demonstrates complex trauma resides in the body, changes the structure and neurobiology of the brain, and greatly influences behavioral patterns and conditioned responses. Brain Body Therapy Group believes in using evidence-based treatment modalities to effectively target co-occurring mental health concerns, addiction, and underlying trauma responses. Our IOP provides a structured group curriculum to assist clients in developing safety, skills for coping, and healthy relationships, which provides a solid foundation of skills that help individuals build a quality life.

An 8-week online therapy group for women healing from purity culture, sexual shame, and disconnection from self. You may have grown up with messages that taught you: your body was dangerous desire was shameful pleasure needed to be controlled sexuality belonged more to others than to yourself Even years later, those messages can continue to shape how you relate to your body, relationships, creativity, sensuality, and sense of aliveness. This group is designed to support women in gently untangling purity culture, reconnecting with themselves, and cultivating a more grounded, embodied, and self-directed relationship with sexuality and pleasure.

This group uses Cognitive Processing Therapy to help you recover from PTSD. It's a treatment group, not a support group, so group members get connection, support, AND healing. Group treatment is effective and can be be cheaper. FAQ: Do I have to share my trauma story? Nope! You can, but it isn't necessary.
