About

My job is to help you feel better able to either deal with or tackle what you have going on, now, in its context. Would you like some help moving through a life transition? Feeling more comfortable asking for or accepting help? Or getting into/staying in recovery? I'm here to help support and develop new ideas and to help with new insights and motivation for the life you and your loved ones hope for you. Together, we can address unhelpful patterns and get you some new skills and tools to meet your goals.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in midtown Atlanta. I have been working as a therapist with groups and individuals for almost fifteen years, with a focus on adult men (ages 25 to 75) and addictions. I am intensively trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy and also trained in Brainspotting. And I love how unique we all are!
I appreciate and emphasize honesty and transparency, in myself and others. My hope is that if you need or want help adjusting to or changing some aspect of your life - and feel ready to be a bit vulnerable and do the work - then you will be in touch and allow me to be of service, working for and beside you all the way.

Samantha McInnis's Groups

Men's Process Group

Seeing yourself in others and vice versa; leaning into vulnerability while at your own pace; adding your ideas and value and receiving the same from others, sometimes without even asking. That is what you can expect from a process group. We look at how and when you interact, and we also engage in expanding your abilities by learning with and from others.
