IMPROVe Anxiety for Middle School Students
IMPROVe Anxiety, run by Megan Sweet, LAMFT, supports middle schoolers who are struggling with worry, stress, or school-related anxiety. In a welcoming, small-group setting, kids learn practical skills to calm anxious thoughts, build confidence, and handle everyday challenges. Sessions combine discussion, fun activities, and easy-to-use tools drawn from approaches like CBT applied improvisation, and mindfulness. Along the way, participants connect with peers who understand what they’re going through. Parents receive updates to help reinforce strategies at home. The group runs on a rolling basis, so students can join anytime and begin building resilience right away.
