My belief is that all phases of life come with unique obstacles and opportunities for the development of deeper insight into what makes life meaningful to us. I find what often interferes with that meaning making process are deeply ingrained patterns of behavior, ways of connecting, and beliefs about who we are meant to be. These patterns in turn create seemingly unresolvable tensions in how we relate to others, the world, and our self. My hope is that in the work I do with my clients, we can create a safe, supportive, and challenging environment to explore where these patterns come from and how they continue to show up.

This is a closed time-limited group for people in their 20s and 30s who have experienced a loss in the recent or distant past, guided by a therapist who encourages self-reflection, expression, and discussion. The focus is on listening to and honoring one another’s stories rather than advice-giving, and on engaging with reflective and contemplative healing practices and materials to support the grieving process. Spots are limited so reach out today.

After investing so much in your relationship, it can be devastating to see it unravel. With over 25,000 clinical hours under my belt, I’ve learned that healing happens when we get beyond surface issues and into the core of what’s breaking you apart. I have a very interactive style and combine warmth with a no-nonsense, direct approach that challenges you to confront destructive patterns and gain the insight and skills needed to finally carve a new path forward. Although I love working with couples in all seasons of their lives, I specialize in working with couples in long-term committed relationships that feel stuck.

I help adults break free from worry, fear, and self-doubt, especially high achievers who feel stuck despite their success. Whether navigating anxiety, past trauma, or neurodivergence—your own or your child’s—you are not alone. I love helping parents better understand and support their neurodivergent children or those with anxiety. Many of my clients or their loved ones have spent years masking their true selves, feeling out of sync, or struggling with shame. I offer evidence-based assessments, individual therapy, and parent support to help you gain clarity, demystify challenges, and identify the best path forward to thrive.

It’s a MYTH that professionals, serving the emotional health needs of others have their own all sewn up. Although, in fact, most are skilled and effective, like all human beings we are a work in progress. Firstly there are the occupational hazards of fatigue, unreal expectations, and living with uncertain results. When these challenges exist, however, over a layer of pre-existing personal/interpersonal challenge the toll is multiplied. I have led dynamically oriented relational process groups for members of the helping professions for 20 years and I have found it effective for discovery, deepening connections, increased self esteem, repair and rejuvenation.

I lead groups for Professionals in Mental Health who wish to carve out time for their own emotional care and growth; and for Young Adults, struggling with depression and anxiety around relationships and transitions . It is within the process of relationship-making (the engine that powers group), that patterns of interaction are revealed that interfere with making healthy and long lasting connections.

In working together I will encourage you to find your own "clear voice" by connecting with your values, sorting out conflicts, and developing new skills. Most importantly, our work involves connecting to your own inner strength. My clients describe me as an astute listener who provides them with a warm and grounded place in which to expand understanding and to learn new and practical approaches. Therapeutic work we do together will often result in your improved ability to "unstick" stuck relationships, get unblocked and communicate more effectively, as well as making meaningful decisions that fit for you.
