Feeling stuck in painful emotions or unfulfilling relationship patterns? You’re not alone. I help couples, twenty-somethings, and professionals break free from cycles of grief, anxiety, depression, and trauma that keep them feeling trapped. My approach isn’t about quick fixes—it’s about creating the space where even small insights can spark deep, lasting change. I strive to model self-compassion in my work, believing that therapy is a boundaried space where healing happens by reducing shame, increasing cognitive flexibility and emotional agility, and strengthening relationships.

You’ve survived deep wounds—abuse that has shaped how you see yourself, your relationships, and the world. Maybe you struggle with overwhelming emotions, dissociation, panic, or feeling disconnected from your body and identity. You might find yourself in unhealthy relationships, battling self-doubt, or feeling like healing is out of reach. But trauma does not define you. I specialize in supporting survivors of sexual, physical, & emotional abuse reclaim their sense of self using EMDR, IFS, Somatic Experiencing, and a relational, psychodynamic approach. With nearly a decade of experience, I am here to affirm that healing is possible.

Childhood trauma is defined as "not good enough" parenting, from overt harm to subtle neglect. Our childhood experiences continue to run us as adults. Research shows that trauma is held in the body, and experiential and relational work is necessary to change this early programming. Amanda Curtin, the groups founder, has developed a step-by step process with concrete tools and exercises that allow deeper change and re-programming to occur. This group is lead by Judith Prebluda. Please see my website for details, and call for a free interview.

Openings available for Individuals. Welcome. With warmth, clarity and compassion, I offer help to people suffering from "Wounds of the Heart and Mind": Trauma, Depression, Anxiety, neglect and relationship issues, in both groups and individual. With many years experience in both traditional and mind/body approaches, I integrate Relational Attachment work, Buddhist psychology, Childhood Trauma healing groups and energy medicine practices . I believe that along with real pain and suffering, everyone has a potential healthy Self; often obscured or undeveloped. We can build, hold and nurture that together.

Whether navigating anxiety, past trauma, or neurodivergence—your own or your child’s—you are not alone. I love helping parents better understand and support their neurodivergent children or those with anxiety. After investing so much in your relationship, it can be devastating to see it unravel. With over 25,000 clinical hours under my belt, I’ve learned that healing happens when we get beyond surface issues and into the core of what’s breaking you apart. I have a very interactive style and combine warmth with a no-nonsense, direct approach that challenges you to confront destructive patterns and gain the insight and skills needed to finally carve a new path forward. Although I love working with couples in all seasons of their lives, I specialize in working with couples in long-term committed relationships that feel stuck.

Is anxiety or depression preventing you from living a more fulfilling life? Are you feeling overwhelmed by a major transition? Are you unable to move on from an upsetting or traumatic past experience? I help patients change patterns of behavior that are no longer working, and learn new and more effective ways of coping and engaging with life. I believe that embedded in the painful crises that usually bring individuals and couples to therapy, there are also opportunities for self understanding and mastery that can be discovered and realized in a safe healing relationship.

Our in-person Cambridge grief group is a place to process grief and connect with others who understand. Research shows that addressing grief during young adulthood is crucial for lifelong emotional well-being, helping prevent the prolonged pain and the “stuckness” that can come from unprocessed loss. Past participants consistently report how helpful to participate. This is a time-limited group for people in their 20s and 30s who have experienced a loss in the recent or distant past, guided by a therapist who encourages self-reflection, expression, and discussion.

Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) is an evidence-based treatment designed to help individuals process and reframe distressing thoughts related to trauma. The focus is on identifying and challenging unhelpful and inaccurate beliefs that have formed as a result of the trauma, such as self-blame or mistrust. By working through structured exercises, clients learn to evaluate these thoughts and replace them with more balanced and realistic perspectives, ultimately reducing the emotional impact of the trauma and improving daily functioning. CPT is particularly effective in treating PTSD and trauma-related symptoms, fostering long-term emotional resilience.

When a client discovers their partner’s infidelity, their trust in the relationship and in the life they had together may be shattered. They often experience mental health symptoms, such as anxiety, depression, grief, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). They don’t always want to stay in the relationship; they may feel ambivalent or may even want to leave. Therapy gives these clients a safe and healthy way to communicate all of their complicated emotions and concerns.
