This is an expressive arts informed group intensive for LGBTQ+ high schoolers focused on increasing confidence for social connection among peers. Many young people struggle with social anxiety, self-esteem, and lack of positive and supportive peer relationships. The group meets in a hybrid format, alternating between 3 hour in-person intensives in Nashville and then meeting virtually two weeks later throughout the Fall of 2022. The group's format is designed to maximize access for socially isolated youth in rural and urban areas.
