Kovu Healing is a premier therapy and consulting service within the Washington DC metro area. Pronounced Ko-voo meaning "Scar" in Swahili, seeks to provide services geared towards healing the emotional scars of the African American community. We offer a safe space for clients to explore life challenges without judgment. Kovu Healing aspires to de-stigmatize psychotherapy in the African American community while also providing education on mental health and wellness. We seek to join our clients on their wellness journey offering guidance and support along the way.
