Intro to Mind-Body Healing
This class explores ideas, skills and practices that support working with our mind-body-energy connection to improve emotional regulation, self-acceptance, self-compassion, and an improved sense of groundedness. Learning occurs through informal lecture, discussion, and especially guided meditative exercises. This class is an 8-week online class, meeting every other week for 90 minutes. Classes are capped at 10 students to allow for class cohesiveness and engagement. Class curriculum is developed by Jake Pierce-Walsh and integrates somatic, energy, and ego-state (parts) therapies.
