Interpersonal General Therapy Process Group
Are you feeling disconnected and looking for some support? You are invited to join our Interpersonal Group. Build skills to communicate your thoughts, feelings and needs. Discuss ways to initiate and sustain healthy relationships and feel comfortable in social situations. Group therapy is a powerful treatment approach that facilitates positive growth and change. Participant have the opportunity to receive understanding, support, and encouragement from others facing similar issues in a safe, confidential environment. Group members can deepen self-awareness, enhance relationship and communication skills and experiment with new ideas and ways of relating to others.Cost is $50 per session. Intake appointment required.

Mindfulness Skills Group - Six Week Session
Mindfulness can be defined as paying attention to present moment with openness, curiosity, and a willingness to be with what is. present. Mindfulness invites us to pause, breathe, observe, and connect with one's inner experience without judgment. In this group, you will consciously be working with your own stress, pain or illness - and the challenges and demands of everyday life in a safe and supportive environment. Includes: Guided instruction in mindfulness meditation practices, group dialogue and discussions aimed at enhancing awareness in everyday life, sitting meditation, breathwork, mindful eating. Cost - $50 session. Intake appt. requried prior to joining group.

Chronic Medical Illness and Chronic Pain Group
This group is for people with chronic medical illness and chronic pain. The group will provide a place to discuss your social, emotional and physical experienes of living with these issues. We will explore self-care, impact on relationships, social support, mindfulness skills, meditation, coping strategies and lifestyle choices and shifting from the role of "patient" and changes in your relationships with your medical provider and family members. The group will offer a supportive and safe space to discuss your feelings and concerns with others who are learning to manage chronic pain and medical illness. An intake appt is requried prior to joining the group.
