In-Person & Virtual Exposure Lab

Exposure Lab is a specialized Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) group designed to support individuals with OCD in continuing exposure practice between individual therapy sessions. It offers a structured, intensive environment to help increase motivation, reduce barriers, and reinforce consistent ERP work. Participants engage in individualized exposures tailored to their specific OCD themes and goals, while also providing and receiving peer support. We currently offer a 6-week in-person group, meeting once weekly at our office and an ongoing virtual group, also meeting weekly. Both groups fosters accountability and community, encouraging ongoing progress in ERP.

Exposure Intensive IOP
NYAT’s 6-week Exposure IOP offers structured, evidence-based treatment for individuals with OCD and Anxiety Disorders. Designed for those needing higher-level care, this in-person program features small cohorts (3–6 participants, 2–4 clinicians) for personalized support. Participants engage in group and individual exposures, fostering flexibility and connection. Each cycle begins together, promoting group cohesion and progress. The program includes twice-weekly individual sessions and one family session. Our goal is to reduce stigma and create a supportive, collaborative space where individuals build community and practice essential skills alongside others who understand their experiences.
