RO DBT empowers us to deepen our relationships connection with others. By learning to regulate our nervous systems, we are able to enjoy our experiences with others and connect more deeply. RO DBT can help us understand our emotions more deeply. RO DBT helps people with over control to create "a life worth sharing" by increasing flexibility and self enquiry to understand ourselves more clearly. Deepening self compassion and cultivating a mindfulness to social signaling helps to empower us to have the connections and relationships that we deeply need and desire in our lives.

Kennesaw Trauma and Addiction Center (KTAC) is an intensive outpatient program that lasts 10-12 weeks and supports clients 3 days a week for 10 hours/week. It is possible to work while attending our program. If you have a substance use issue that you feel interferes in your family/work/ or just parts of your life, this program may be for you. We believe that underlying issues such as trauma can exasperate every day functioning. Insurance usually covers such treatment. If that is something you may be interested, give us a call and we can talk more about it.

Parental Alienation (PA) is when a parent "brainwashes" their child or children against the other parent. It can vary in intensity and tactics used. It harms the child and the targeted parent and it also feeds the pathological needs of the perpetrator. We are offering this support group for targeted parents to learn more about how PA works, help identify strategies to counter the effects of PA, and to provide support from others who have experienced PA. Tuesday Evenings at 6 Starting January 6th! ONLINE ONLY To enroll call 470.418.3835.

I run 4 women's process groups serving two age groups and online and in-person preferences. All groups are open to single, straight women (never married or divorced) who are navigating singleness, dating, and changing dynamics between men and women.  We focus on grieving disappointments, losses, and trauma incurred from relationships with men; support and accountability in current relationships and dating; and shifting identity to decenter men and unlearn self-abandoning habits. This is a great alternative to 1:1 therapy for those with limited budget.

There are significant mental health challenges faced by individuals navigating changes in their faith. This guided process group offers a supportive environment for exploring spiritual experiences amidst faith deconstruction and spiritual exploration. In contrast to often highly authoritarian religious contexts, this group prioritize attunement, containment, and your own sense of agency, ensuring every member feels valued and supported. There is a deeply transformative impact of integrating spiritual practices with mental health care; so if you are looking to process your faith experience and potentially reconstruct from the ashes, this space is for you.

This group is a healing-centered space created for women-identifying survivors of sexual trauma who are seeking deeper emotional healing, connection, and self-compassion. Our purpose is to support one another in rewriting the beliefs that trauma may have planted beliefs rooted in shame, guilt, or self-blame and to begin transforming those narratives with kindness and love. Through shared experience, guided discussions, and practical self-compassion techniques, we will work together to reconnect with the parts of ourselves that endured pain and offer them the love. This group supports your healing, empowers your voice, and reminds you, you’re not alone.
