If traditional talk therapy does not fully work for you or takes too long it is not your fault and you are not alone. You may understand the root of your issues and still continue to experience symptoms like anxiety, frustration, lack of focus, or feeling stuck because stress or traumatic experiences have caused dysregulation of your nervous system. That is why I combine different approaches including EMDR and IFS to reprocess traumatic and stressful experiences, Polyvagal to re-train the nervous system, Somatic to address memories stored in the body, and Gottman Couples therapy to heal your relationship

You’re overthinking everything, spiraling with “what-ifs,” replaying convos, second-guessing every text you send. You’re constantly "on," but underneath it all, you’re exhausted. You look like you have it all together on the outside, but inside, your mind won’t shut up. You’ve spent your life being the one who handles it all. But lately, it feels like you’re running on fumes. You’ve tried the self-help books, the podcasts, the journaling—and you still feel stuck. You want calm, and you want to actually feel like yourself again. Sound familiar? I can help! Hi, I'm Jade and I'm so glad you're here.
Hormonal changes, hot flashes, mood swings, sensitivity, lack of libido, poor sleep, changes in weight, thinning hair. On top of that you have to deal with "that look" from spouses or family members. Menopause can make you feel isolated, emotional and frustrated. Having a space to discuss coping strategies and feel understood and heard by other women dealing with peri, post or in menopause can make a world of a difference. Add to that a professional facilitator and some scientific techniques like EMDR and you may find that this time in life can be a time of joy and growth

Sexism and economic inequality, access to equal opportunity, lack of respect for caregiving, and navigating career and motherhood, are some of the systemic problems women must deal with in our society. This group wants to offer a space for those women struggling to feel worthy, stay focused and productive, feeling overwhelmed by the constant bombarding from the media about their image, and for those craving more time to connect with other women. This group is a space to step back from the overload of daily life and remember to practice self-love and acceptance.

Often, looking for a counselor and attending therapy require great strength and courage. Stigmatization around mental health disorders and lack of health insurance are some of the barriers many people must overcome before sitting in the counseling session. As a Counselor, I want to do everything possible to facilitate that process. I want to offer nothing different from what I would like to receive as a client: a safe, honest, and culturally-sensitive environment in which new paths to achieve a more fulfilling life can be discovered.
I am offering a closed group for sex/gender diverse individuals who self-identify as sex workers. All are welcome from all sectors of the sex industry. In the past 20 years of my career I have received certified training in multiple modes of therapy including cognitive behavioral therapy, couples counseling, sex therapy and group therapies. As a bilingual, bi-cultural therapist, I enjoy working with people of diverse ethnic backgrounds, cultures, gender, and sexual orientations. My approach to therapy is founded on the belief that people can change aspects of their life that no longer accurately represent who they are or how they want to be perceived by others.

For $45 per session, explore personalized coping tools, rebuild self-trust, and rewrite narratives that no longer serve you. Whether you’re confronting old pain or managing daily triggers, this is your space to be seen, supported, and empowered. Transform pain into power—one shared story at a time. Secure your spot!

Because women often experience issues associated with alcohol use disorders quite differently than men do, it is important for women to open up and share their experiences through support groups that cater to their special needs. This is a women-only support group where the leader is a licensed therapist and co-leader is in recovery with a unique understanding of the challenges women face.

Life can be painful, relationships can be disappointing, and self-sabotage can be your barrier to achieving your full potential. Real change is possible, but not easy. It happens in your life when you decide to take control of what you have power to change instead of trying to exercise control over what you don't. I assist clients by helping them identify the specific maladaptive thoughts and behaviors ingrained in each of us from our pasts and which can sabotage our futures. Working together clients can gain self-awareness, identify core values and create goals changing their life direction.

How do you encourage a woman to go to therapy?
It’s helpful to express concern and love for the person while framing therapy as a tool for improving their life. Offering specific examples of how an individual may be suffering, and what effects it has on them, should be done with compassion and with empathy. It may be useful to devise a game plan—breaking the process down into parts, such as finding a therapist, making appointments, and looking into insurance coverage.
How can women prepare for therapy?
Women can prepare for therapy by being willing to talk about their past experiences and their private thoughts. Before a session, an individual may want to reflect on how they’ve felt since the last session and what’s happened in their lives. Between sessions, it can be useful to write down notes about their reaction to a given event or how they felt at a particular time.
How long does therapy for women’s issues often last?
As with any type of therapy, sessions depend on the individual and the challenges they face. Therapy types like Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Prolonged exposure therapy (PET), and Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) can be brief, most often ranging from between 5 and 20 sessions. In some cases, such as for women with eating disorders, residential treatment may be recommended for an individual who is judged to be at high risk of self-harm. For any therapy, the duration will depend on the progress made and results realized.
How can women overcome stigma around specific challenges in order to seek therapy?
Women dealing with domestic abuse, sexual assault, eating disorders, and any other number of troubles may feel a stigma around seeking help. It’s important to remember that these issues are not uncommon and there is no shame in getting help for them. Therapy is confidential, and women can talk about their experiences without fear of judgment. Seeking therapy can be a courageous and liberating act, and an important step toward healing and recovery.
