Now that we know how fragile it all is, it’s simply too painful to think that we may not become pregnant or sustain a pregnancy. Perhaps we're hesitating to call the fertility clinic. For many of us, the “fourth trimester,” or first three months after labor and delivery, may be a time of joy, yes, but also uncertainty. We are exhausted to say the least, and yet we keep moving ahead, immersed in love, in our new role as parent.
