Female Sexual Assault Survivors Group
I know how difficult it is to navigate your way through this horrifying experience, so please know you are in safe hands. In this intimate and supportive group environment we will process thoughts and feelings surrounding your traumatic experience. Healing together with other women who have been through similar experiences is a powerful way to move forward and build a support system. I have extensive experience in treating all types of trauma and a deep understanding and sensitivity surrounding the delicate nature of the topic of sexual assault.

This group is co-run by a therapist and Registered Dietitian and open to all body sizes. This group offers space to discuss the struggles of living in a weight-centric world. Group will provide education and support on how to create boundaries and assert needs with medical professionals and loved ones. Participants can give and receive support, and build community with others who are opting out of diet culture.

This group is facilitated by a different practitioner each week in order to expose individuals to a wide array of coping skills. Some of the skills that will be focused on include, but are not limited to; cognitive behavior therapy skills, dialectical behavioral skills, nutrition, music therapy, breathwork, yoga, meditation, journaling and creative writing, movement, and grounding exercises.
