Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) - Adults 18+

Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) is an evidenced based treatment developed by Dr. Marsha Linehan. Combining cognitive-behavioral techniques for emotion regulation and reality testing with concepts of distress tolerance, acceptance, and mindfulness, the DBT skills group provides a supportive environment for individuals to learn and practice the skills necessary to lead a fulfilling life. Research has shown DBT to be effective in reducing suicidal behavior, non-suicidal self-injury, psychiatric hospitalization, treatment dropout, substance use, anger, and depression and improving social and global functioning. Prospective participants are required to be in individual therapy as well. In-person or telehealth.

Emotional Sobriety for Men

You’ve already overcome the biggest barrier for men exploring recovery - asking for help. So why not keep this momentum going? Men are “stoic, strong, & self-reliant,” right? The stigma (often self imposed) about sharing thoughts & feelings, asking for time away from work or family obligations, & a limited social support network, are all barriers common for men to experience during this process. And these barriers are why men have a greater risk of relapse. We work together to put words to your experience & action to your words so you can be successful in this new journey. Offered via telehealth.
