EFT Tapping for Stress Relief

A neuroscience-informed emotional regulation skills group. This structured small-group program teaches Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), commonly known as “tapping,” as a practical, evidence-informed tool for reducing anxiety, emotional overwhelm, and stress-related symptoms. The group integrates cognitive, somatic, and nervous-system–based approaches to help participants build sustainable emotional regulation skills in real time. EFT combines elements of cognitive reframing, exposure principles, and gentle acupressure-point stimulation (tapping) to support the body’s stress response system. Participants learn to identify emotional triggers, track physiological activation, and apply tapping sequences that reduce intensity and increase clarity, flexibility, and self-regulation.
