Default Parent Support Group
This is primarily a support group, but we will be walking through Acceptance and Commitment Therapy skills as well. This groups is born out of a need I see in my clients - to have community with other parents who carry similar (very heavy loads). The TLDR: we begin 1/4 (next Sunday!), we will meet Sunday nights, via Telehealth 730-9pm. It's open to all parents. Does it feel like something needs to change in 2026? Sandwhich Generation - Support Group
This support group is for adults navigating life in the “sandwich generation”—caring for children while also supporting aging parents.. This group is grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and centers on building psychological flexibility: the ability to stay present with what’s hard, loosen the grip of unhelpful thoughts, and take values-based action—even in the midst of stress, grief, and uncertainty. You don’t need to choose between caring for others and caring for yourself. ACT offers a way to hold both.
