
I run a Dialectical Behavioral Therapy/ coping skills training group.If you find that you suffer from chronic feelings of emptiness, fear of abandonment, unstable and intense interpersonal relationships, unstable self-image, intense anger or lack of control with anger, suicidal thoughts or self-harming behaviors. DBT may be for you. DBT therapy teaches four critically important skills that can help reduce emotional pain and keep you in balance when these emotions overwhelm you. Mindfullness, emotional regulation, Distress Tolerance and Interpersonal effectiveness are skills taught. Members are asked to utilize the skills in their personal lives.
