DBT Skills Training (Online)

The Adult Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) group is a skill-focused group found helpful for those who have difficulty regulating their moods and emotional states without alcohol or drugs or engaging in maladaptive or self-harming behaviors. Skills include mindfulness, navigating relationships, and managing one's emotions to help individuals gain self-empowerment and mastery in life. People from invalidating, unstable, chaotic, and trauma-inducing environments are most likely to benefit from the DBT group. Participants should be in individual psychotherapy while in the group.

Loneliness and Intimacy: Adult Group (Online)
The group is for adults with personal and interpersonal issues: depression, anxiety, relationships, work, and family struggles. The group provides support and understanding and strives to build insight into interpersonal relating, and deeper issues that might impede clear communication and emotional expression, such as defensive reactions that can prevent intimate contact with others. We focus on the past as it shows up and affects interaction in the here-and-now, identify patterns among members and facilitators to increase awareness and assist in learning better ways of relating. This group is ideally suited for those already participating in individual therapy sessions.
