This Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills group is for adolescents and parents/guardians to learn and practice skills together. Participants in this group will learn valuable and essential skills in mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness. By participating in this group, you can expect to increase your ability to make effective choices, manage situations you cannot change, get your needs met more effectively, and live a balanced and meaningful life. Our group for teens (13+) and parents/guardians meets Wednesdays at 6-7:30 p.m. Participants can join either virtually or in-person at our office in Orlando, Florida.
