Flamenco psychotherapy is a psyche soma healing technique for decreasing stress. We use outdoor spaces because the stomping of flamenco steps helps with decreasing dissociation. Also, hand and feet coordination creates neuroplasticity (learning something new). The fee is 30 dollars per person, minimum 3 people.

Our social skills group is adolescents (10-17) who are struggling with peers and at home. Children in our group try to make and keep friends; however, anxiety, depression, and difficulty reading social cues impact social interactions. These adolescents feel discouraged as they desperately want to make friends. We help them make friends through practice and feedback in the group social situation. Our clinicians implement activities to provide children with the opportunity to learn skills in challenging situations. Adolescents learn to interact with the group effectively. Our groups are developmentally and age-appropriate.

This group meets to provide support to parents in areas and situations that are specific to their kids ages and needs. Groups can be created around a common age or theme (eg-divorce, loss) and are typically 4-5 parents per group. We meet for 1.25 hours every 2-3 weeks depending upon the groups decision. We discuss everything from behaviors, limit setting, development, managing school or peer issues, etc. It is very open ended. The beauty of these types of group are that parents provide support and ideas for each other while the group leader can give more specific advice. Dates/times TBD
