Coping Skills Group for Kids age 7-13
A camp-like experience that is fun yet teaches practical skills to recognize emotions and stressors in life. Coping skills to address uncomfortable feelings such as being overwhelmed, angry, fearful, and sad are taught. There is an emphasis on building self-esteem and healthy ways to communicate feelings. Great for kids who struggle with stress, social anxiety, and adjusting to new situations.

Coping Skills Group For Teens
An on-going group intended for teenagers whose emotions and behaviors may feel out of control and may have difficulty coping in healthy ways . Objectives include: 1. Improve understanding of why we feel what we do, "What are our emotions trying to tell us?" 2. Increase insight and improve ability to label emotions 3. Learn and practice a variety of effective coping skills 4. Use skills to manage emotions and reduce behaviors such as emotional outbursts, cutting, isolation, suicidal thoughts/ threats, generalized anxiety, social anxiety, and fighting with others 5. Be a part of a group that is supportive and nurturing.

Coping Skills Group For Young Adults
An on-going group for young adults ages 18 to 29, including college students who are home for summer break. Teaches individuals how to stay calm and mindful in difficult situations; effectively manage out -of-control emotions and eliminate behaviors such as cutting, isolation, suicidal thoughts/ threats; reduce the pain of intense emotions; reduce anxiety levels; and get along with family and friends. It is an opportunity to learn coping skills within a supportive environment.
