Whether you’re still in the closet or have recently come out, the Coming Out Support Group is a safe, affirming place to share your thoughts and feelings about the coming out process. It is also a good place to build your support network, ask questions, and learn about resources that might benefit you as a gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender person. Offering 2 free adult support groups for people diagnosed with HIV: Newly Diagnosed group for people who have recently learned of their diagnosis, and Living with HIV for those at any stage in their diagnosis. These support groups focus on discussing challenges, sharing experiences and developing strategies to cope and understand how to best address the challenges of stigma in our work, families and communities. We know it can be lonely navigating the world as a gender diverse individual. This support group provides an affirming space for participants to understand identities, build relationships, a sense of community, and share medical and educational resources with one another.
