At Chinook Horses in Billings Montana, we have a passion and belief that horses are remarkable creatures and make amazing partners in healing and improving people’s lives. You don’t have to be a horse enthusiast to benefit from interacting with these noble beings. We provide opportunities for individuals and families to engage, learn, and thrive outside of the classroom and traditional therapeutic environments by practicing equine-facilitated activities and psychotherapy, regardless of their ability to pay. A keystone is a large wedge-shaped stone at the top of an arch that locks the other stones in place. Something that other things depend on for support can also be called a keystone. Our goal is to provide counseling to help encourage healing and change, improve coping around life's challenges and disappointments, facilitate the building of more satisfying relationships, and sustain progress along the journey.
