Child Social Skills Group
Navigating and learning how to be successful in social situations can be a challenging task for children. This social skills group helps children interact appropriately and develop strategies to foster healthy peer relationships. Topics will include: empathy, assertive communication, boundary setting, self-esteem, making new friends, initiating interaction, problem-solving, understanding social cues, manners, conflict resolution, self-advocating, managing stress, and adaptive coping tools. Our therapists create a safe and nurturing environment where children can practice in-person friendship-building with same age peers in our community.

Teen Social Skills Group
The teenage years are crucial for creating confidence and laying the foundation for healthy adult relationships. This teen social skills group aims to help high schoolers learn how to overcome isolation, manage academic stressors and navigate peers relationships. Topics will include: empathy, conflict resolution, effective communication, active listening, boundary setting, social media, sexuality and dating, self-esteem, emotional regulation, future planning, and accountability. Our therapists create a safe, non-judgmental space where teens can feel supported and empowered to share their experiences and find a sense of belonging.
