As trans individuals we are often asked to explain our relationships with our bodies to gain respect, affirmation, and services: an articulation is conflated with proof of existence. This virtual therapy group aims to provide a space where you can explore the complexity of stories that live within and around your body, without expectations. You do not need to prove your existence; You exist.

Living with memories of childhood sexual abuse is isolating. You may feel like nobody is able to handle hearing about it. It's important to be part of a community who understands, never judges, and has experienced the same things. If this is how you feel, this virtual group is essential for you. We use a trauma informed lens to foster feelings of safety, and cohesiveness within the group.

This group will provide a safe space for gay men to heal from sexual trauma. Unfortunately, gay men are more likely to experience trauma than straight men--particularly sexual trauma. And, it's often difficult for gay men to find a space to begin to unpack and heal from their experiences. That's what you'll experience in this group: a safe environment to recover from trauma. In fact, many folks find that the healing process is quicker in a group setting, rather than traditional individual therapy. Interested to learn more? What if you had a space to practice new ways of showing up and see in real time how it changes your relationships? A place where you don’t have to get it “right”, where you can be real, sit with vulnerability, and experience what it’s like to be fully seen. In this group for adults in their 20s and 30s, you’ll explore emotions as they happen, try out new ways of relating, and discover the impact you have on others. Think of it as a lab for connection: a chance to reinvent yourself and build authentic relationships.

For APCC, ASW, AMFT, & R-DMTs: Group supervision is a place where you can meet with individuals who offer you unique perspectives, get you out of your own head, and share resources. Collaborate with colleagues and get grounded in your field, tease apart countertransference issues, get support on difficult cases, and make it affordable because you’re sharing the cost of the supervision hours. It is so great to receive support and feedback from a group of clinicians who are also LGBTQ+ affirming, anti-oppressive, and anti-racist. All while building a professional network.
