Boys Club
Boys Club- for boys ages 11-17 Group therapy can be a very effective intervention for adolescents. In the group, boys have the ability to get support and feedback from their peers. They will learn new skills for reducing stress and how to solve problems. Within groups, social communication is always addressed and they are able to try out new skills in "real time." Participants will identify their strengths, set goals, change negative thinking patterns, support each other, face fears and anxiety, and participate in stress reduction techniques such as relaxation training, visualization, and breathing.
