Similar to our Body Image Process Group, Making Peace With Food is all about creating a warm and welcoming space to explore and improve your relationship with food and exercise. The group is semi-structured using psychoeducation about nutrition to dispute our disordered beliefs around food and exercise. We encourage members to share their feelings and personal experiences with others who can help them feel seen in their struggles. Topics may range from exploring toxic relationships with food and exercise, withstanding the oppression of “food police”, and improving our relationship with exercise and finding joy in movement.
