Bereavement Support for Spouse/Life Partner
This four week therapy group helps people who are struggling to cope following the death of a spouse or life partner. Sessions will include grief education, coping tools and facilitated supportive conversation. Topics include facing and coping with holidays, changes in family, identity and roles, self-care. Led by grief counselor, Lynn Acquafondata. Four week groups offered on a regular basis. Call or email for dates. Advanced registration required.

Life doesn't make sense after the death of a child of any age. Listen, share and learn to cope with the help of an experienced grief counselor and parents who have suffered the death of an adult child. This small, confidential support group is for parents overwhelmed by depression, anxiety, anger, guilt, flashbacks or emotional numbness. Are you grieving the death of your parent? Join with other adults who are trying to navigate grief and life changes following the death of a parent. Topics may include: coping strategies; changing identity and role, changes in family, spirituality and meaning; myths and facts about grief, anger and other emotions.
