IN this group we will use experiential methods to help explore who we are, and changes we would like to make assisting in discovering the woman we are meant to be. IT is a small closed group 4-6 women who have a common desire to self-reflect and examine deeper issues. WE will explore ego-strength, emotional dysregulation, shadow work, and family of origin. THE group will meet up once a week for 2 hours, and run for 8-12 times depending. The group is currently inactive. Questions - use my contact information.

Who looks outside dreams. Who looks inside awakens, quote C.G. Jung. I am a doctor in depth psychology with a psychodynamic therapeutic approach. If you notice behaviors, thoughts, or feelings interfering with your life creating depression, anxiety, etc. even addiction, we will work on your insights, and increase your self-awareness regarding intentions and/or behaviors that no longer serve any purpose in your life. Maybe you have long-standing negative beliefs and reactions repeating themselves, hiding in traumatic experiences. Perhaps ongoing questions demand deeper answers. In collaboration we will work on reaching your goal.

Emotional Processing: Techniques for working through feelings. 3. Rebuilding Trust: Strategies for future relationships. 4. Self-Care Practices: Tools for ongoing support and healing. Heal. Educate. Trying to connect with my partner but no matter how hard I try, I can't. What is this wall between us? I walk into the room the phone screen is swiped and computer screen closed. My mind fights “Is it my imagination? Am I too sensitive?”. Then, the uncomfortable heavy feeling takes over and I feel blind-sighted. Betrayal. Lies. The world seems to spin. The ground falls out from under me. No longer in control of emotions. Life is a raging storm. I react intensely, instead of responding. Overcome by a short temper, crying, screaming, or feeling completely numb. Chaos has become the new norm and I feel lost. How do I face this storm?
This group is a good fit if you: You are over 25 and have not had pervious serious queer relationships. Question your sexuality beyond heterosexuality. Have never really understood the rage about love and sex and wonder if it's because you weren't that into men and you may want to date women. Always kind of wondered if you may not be totally straight. Want to explore dating and sexuality with women but still worry what that change might mean in your life. Are new to the LGBTQ+ community and want to explore your identity and sexuality more fully.

This group is available for men who identify that they have crossed appropriate sexual/emotional boundaries in their relationships, violating and betraying their loved ones. The group provides a non-shaming, caring environment for recovery for those wanting to restore their personal integrity and rebuild their spouses' trust- thus forming a basis for saving their marriages and their families from further pain and possible dissolution. It is important to identify what we are medicating in order to reduce our vulnerablility to it. At the same time, common-sense and caring confrontation reduce likelihood of a slip.

Two major areas of focus are Fidelity Issues for Couples (including but not limited to Sex Addiction) and Intensive Therapy Programs for Individuals and Couples. See my website for details (www.scottsdalecounseling.net).
I run two Men's Groups each week, addressing Fidelity, Addiction and Anger Issues. I typically see Spouses for Coaching and do extensive Couple Therapy in the Restoration process.
Intensive Therapy Programs are typically eight days in length, with the individual or couple seeing me several hours daily.
I am an EFT-trained couples' therapist and am Co-Author of the book: Lonely All the Time.

This therapy group is designed for men who want to reduce or eliminate their unwanted pornography use. Many men find it difficult to relate to other resources such as 12-step fellowships or sex addiction groups. They may also struggle with being called a “Sex Addict” and want to find a safe environment where they are not required to take a label. There is no requirement in this group to claim addiction. The men in this group simply own their behaviors as a problematic and want to get better.

Have you been discouraged by your experience in a psychiatrist office with Ketamine? My passion is bridging the gap in KAP treatment by bringing reverence to the experience, a beautiful and warm setting, and evidence based psychotherapy to your ketamine experience so you get the most benefit from your medicine. I use Internal Family Systems therapy to help you process trauma at a deep level and overcome treatment blocks. Ketamine studies have demonstrated marked improvement in symptoms of grief, PTSD, depression, and OCD. It allows for deep neuroplasticity within the brain. This group requires medical clearance and psychological clearance.

Welcome! I have been in practice since 2013 and have learned that by gaining understanding and compassion for ourselves, our innate healing potential will emerge. I love to help other professionals, and I am a AZBBHE clinical supervisor. A quote by Carl Yung summarizes my philosophy "Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will rule your life, and you will call it fate. " I use a "non-pathologizing lens" to see my clients holistically and help them make connections to how their past experiences have shaped the narratives and emotions they experience now. I am only taking new clients for KAP intensives, we collapse time!
