My primary goal is to offer a safe and caring environment where clients will be able to work through problematic thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. In doing so, the journey of healing and growth begins. I prefer to utilize a holistic approach to counseling, incorporating various treatment methods into my practice depending upon the needs of each client. As a result, individuals are able to heal from deep rooted issues and trauma. I offer a complimentary 15 minute phone consultation in order for clients to learn more about my approach to counseling and get a sense for my particular style. I also offer evening appointments.

Are you feeling alone and stuck with certain clients? Are you depleted by your work as a therapist and long for a safe place to consult these cases? The self of the therapist is necessary for the therapeutic process, but much of our training and supervision focuses on the experience of the client and not the therapist. The goal of this consult group is to develop the awareness of your self as the therapist so that you will gain the skills and capacity to enter into the lives of your clients in new ways that enliven you and your clients.

You may have landed on this professional profile because you are taking stock of your life and realize that the life you have is not the one you envisioned for yourself. Whether you are bored or in a lot of pain, you may be seeking growth and change, possibly a sense of aliveness. Counseling can be a safe, nurturing setting to slow down and listen to your soul and your body. As you become aware of yourself, you begin to understand how you got to where you are, why you do what you do, and what new paths are possible to you. As a trained therapist from a relational-psychodynamic perspective, I see therapy as a collaborative process.
