Alpha Mike (Abort Mission): Veteran Society of Suicide Survivors (AM/VS3). Alpha Mike, a therapy group led by retired Army Major (Infantry), former Airborne Ranger (enlisted), with deployments to Colombia and Afghanistan. VS3’s mission: teach veterans the “How” of their suicide ideation; the pathway they took from situation normal to the terminal act of self-destruction. Suicide is a process, not impulsive, nor independent event; it is a decision, a derived ‘path of least resistance’ to end suffering, pain, guilt, shame, etc. Abort Mission!
