Recent data indicate that roughly 1 in 5 veterans experience mental health issues. Group practice owner Matt McKenzie's dad (John L.) was a former U.S. Marine and Hoover fireman who tragically passed away in 2020. We know all too well that those who serve us are often underserved. The purpose of this group is to offer peer-led support groups to our veterans and first responders.

Studies show that Group Therapy is just as effective as individual therapy. I personally believe, it may be MORE effective than individual therapy because there is strength in numbers. Unlike open-groups, closed- process group members are set from the start of the group. New individuals may enter when someone graduates or leaves the group, but there is more consistency. Everyone wants a quick fix, but "easy come, easy go". To experience change that lasts, you must show up and do the work. We hope that you get out of your head and into our groups SOON! We hope to see you there!
