Multi-Family DBT Skills Group (Wednesdays)
Offering a virtual Multi-Family DBT group for teens and parents/caregivers - Teens (ages 13-18) w/1 parent or primary caregiver. The multi-family group allows teens and parents to learn skills side by side so that both can acquire new behaviors for effectively managing the challenges of adolescence and the parent-teen relationship. This model helps to ensure that a teen’s environment is addressed, and their most important support system (their primary caregivers) are included in the therapeutic process. Teens struggling with mental health issues need skillful caregivers in the home, while their caregivers need support and guidance.
