Adolescent DBT and RODBT Skills Classes

Perimeter DBT has both Traditional adolescent DBT Skills Classes and RODBT Skills Classes. Our traditional DBT skills classes are to enhance your middle or high schooler's capabilities by teaching behavioral skills and assigning practice homework. Groups meet weekly and take 24 weeks to get through the full skills curriculum. Our RODBT Skills classes are targeted more for the teen that is over controlled, perfectionistic, and rigid in their thinking. Groups meet weekly and take 30 weeks to get through the full skills curriculum. Each client must complete an assessment prior to joining either group. Please see our website for group fees, times, and dates.

Parent/Caregiver DBT Class
Parents and caregivers will participate in a 9 week DBT class. You will learn and practice specific skills to decrease family distress and increase effectiveness at home. This class will provide family members an understanding of behavioral patterns in themselves and their distressed teen; encourage the contributions of all family members to a mutually validating environment; and address the need to improve skills in all family members. This is a mandatory component of our Adolescent DBT Program. We also offer a 9 week Parent Graduate class for those that wish to continue their skills knowledge.
