ACT on Anxiety and Depression
This is a 8-week in-person group program that explores the foundations of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) for people experiencing low to moderate anxiety and depression. This program aims to empower participants by building their ‘toolbox’ with powerful and practical strategies to reduce their struggle with intrusive thoughts and unhelpful patterns of behavior. Sessions will teach clients strategies to let go of control and accept uncomfortable thoughts, feelings, and sensations. We will work to identify personal values and learn how to engage in actions that are congruent with those values to build a satisfying life.
