The next Yoga for Anxiety Group Series starts fall of 2016. Over the six sessions, participants will benefit from asana, breathing, mantra, meditation, and yoga philosophy geared to harness and lower anxious energy from high stress, ongoing anxiety, life changes, and panic. The practices are accessible to a wide variety of practitioners, so you do not need an established yoga practice to join. The series is run by an LCSW and yoga teacher and is not group therapy. Contact me directly if you would like more information or to be on the list for this upcoming series!

This group meets online to support any man struggling with addictive or self-medicating behaviors during this isolating time. All forms of self-medicating welcome such as: pornography, sex, drugs/alcohol, food, video games, work, gambling and relationships. This is a group of 8-10 men that learn tools to more effectively maintain healthy long-term sobriety. The group is actively engaged in each other's lives outside of group time throughout the week via text/phone. The opposite of addiction is not sobriety; It's connection!

Groups provide fertile grounds for the human spirit. They are a wonderful way to gain insight about yourself and the way you are perceived by others. Process groups address each member's circumstances and also attend to the relationships among members at the moment during group. This combination helps members gain insight into themselves and others and is a real eye-opener to blind spots one might have to overcome challenges. Groups also help members grow their awareness about their needs and feelings.

These periodic groups combine traditional therapeutic interventions with practices from the Mystical Spiritual and Wisdom Traditions, along with physical movement. The work is integrated with art: music, poetry, etc. It is appropriate for those experiencing significant emotional/psychological pain and suffering, survivors of trauma, as well as Counseling Professionals who no longer benefit adequately from mainstream therapy. It is the most effective process found so far to rapidly address virtually any difficulty, from distress in adjusting to change, to severe, intractable post traumatic stress & "moral injury" in combat veterans. Please call for information.

This is a long term dynamic group just formed 2/11/20. A place to work on relationship, conflict avoidance, gender identity or sexual orientation challenges. The relationship between family of origin experiences and the now! Group is fun! It's hard at times but exhilarating.
