It is important to navigate through the domains of life. Emotional, physical, occupational, social, spiritual, intellectual, environmental and financial.I focus on trauma, anxiety, depression, and day-to-day stress to help you manage it. I use evidence-based approaches, including CBT and EMDR, to empower clients with practical skills and emotional resilience. My goal is to guide clients towards self-assuredness, emotional balance, and effective stress management during this transformative phase. By changing the way we view life and stressors we are able to change how they affect us. Stress is inevitable, how you allow it to affect

I find there are times life can feel overpowering. I like to help people move from a position of powerlessness to one of Hope. Empowering clients is important and enables change. I believe Recovery is a journey. Change can be difficult. Therapy can provide the support needed to move forward with this process. I love sharing the adventure with my clients.
The possibility of certain lifestyle changes, dietary changes, and other methods of recovery care may be recommended. Our outpatient treatment programs typically involve individual counseling, group therapy, educational services, and recovery support groups. Group therapy involves meeting with other people that are also struggling with similar issues directly or indirectly associated with alcohol addiction, or drug addiction. For our clients that are in an outpatient program, they may meet once or twice a week for group therapy

You want a therapist who is passionate & loves people, who has multiple, not singular experiences, who believes in therapy enough to go themselves. I go as preventive medicine. Originally from NYC, have always had friends, associates, relationships with persons from every culture. This has been extremely valuable in developing my clinical skills and ability to understand and help a wide variety of people from various backgrounds. The next invaluable contribution to my clinical skills is my Mother, Elizabeth, who taught me, "Everyone I know knows something I don't." This makes every single person of unique intrinsic value.
Finding meaning and a new way forward after significant loss, endings, or transitions can seem daunting and, perhaps, not even possible. This process-oriented, experiential group is for those who wish to search within themselves along with each other to uncover new possibilities for aliveness, creativity, and meaning after experiencing loss, endings, or difficult transitions. Meets weekly for 12 weeks. Meets virtually.
The therapeutic relationship creates a unique space for patient and therapist to explore and uncover new possibilities for growth and change in areas that are of importance to the patient. I work collaboratively with patients to dislodge and free up deeply-embedded patterns of behavior and ways of relating to others that can keep us stuck and prevent us from moving forward, from achieving important goals, and from developing satisfying relationships that are nurturing and sustaining. Relationships are central to my work with patients, whether working individually, in couples therapy, or in a group.
Are you having problems controlling your anger and you have a short fuse. Or are other people telling you you have an anger issue because you get easily upset. Let Foundational Counseling Services assist you with learning how to control your anger. We are running a group now for 12 weeks and you obtain a certificate at the end. No matter what your reason for coming; court related, domestic violence, or problems in relationships. Let FCSCares help you to reestablish a sense of calm and peace back into your functioning. I work with adults and teens, building skills and laying down new pathways for dealing with relationship struggles, inner conflict, loss, developmental crises, and identity concerns. I consult with parents of children of all ages, guiding them in helping their kids live less painful, more fulfilling lives. I help people who grapple with anger, sadness, anxiety, and feelings of emptiness or despair. I help my patients learn to be mindful and nonjudgmental in their awareness of thoughts, feelings, and the many motivations that lead to sometimes difficult behaviors. I also offer an emotional skills workshop for parents.
