This weekly therapy group helps participants to identify areas of needed growth, gain an increased awareness of how they are seen by others, and develop expanded communication abilities. Role-plays, art therapy, and game therapy will also be incorporated to create a unique and engaging environment. Common goals for group members may include: reducing procrastination, improving time management, and learning how to develop an effective routine. Additionally, this will be a non-judgmental and supportive space to explore the impact of emotions and stress on executive functioning, and strategies to improve emotion regulation and reduce stress.

CFT helps increase self- and other-compassion, emotion regulation, capacity to face difficulties, and movement towards values and goals.

This is an 8-week virtual support group for adults living with depression. We’ll explore the thoughts, feelings, and behaviors common in depression. We’ll identify commonalities and what makes our personal experience unique. We’ll experiment with new perspectives and practice new ways of thinking and behaving. Depression is hard and there are no easy answers, but that doesn’t mean you have to go through it alone. This is a space where we can find compassion and support and discover our inner strength and resilience. Group is scheduled to start early 2025.
