Wednesday Martin Ph.D.
Wednesday Martin, Ph.D., a writer and social researcher, is the author of Primates of Park Avenue and Stepmonster: A New Look at Why Real Stepmothers Think, Feel, and Act the Way We Do. Wednesday has been interviewed as a parenting and stepparenting expert on CNN, NPR, BBC radio and television, NBC's Weekend Today, and Fox News, and her work has appeared in the New York Times. A regular contributor to the New York Post parenting page for several years, her writing on relationships and sexual, emotional and physical health have appeared in Cosmopolitan, Fitness, and Glamour. She has a doctorate in comparative literature and cultural studies--with a focus on anthropology and the history of psychoanalysis--from Yale and has taught cultural studies at Yale, the New School for Social Research, and Baruch College.
