Tara Peris Ph.D.

Tara Peris, Ph.D., is Associate Professor of Psychiatry and Biobehavioral Sciences at the UCLA Semel Institute and Program Director of the UCLA ABC Partial Hospitalization Program for Children. Her clinical interests are in developmental psychopathology, with a particular focus on evidence-based treatments for child and adolescent anxiety and related disorders. Her research interests center on developing strategies for optimizing treatment outcome for difficult-to-treat cases of anxiety, OCD, and related conditions. Peris is Director of the BFRB Precision Medicine Initiative launched by The TLC Foundation for Body-Focused Repetitive Behaviors.
