Rachel Hershenberg Ph.D.

Rachel Hershenberg, Ph.D., an assistant professor of psychiatry and behavioral sciences at Emory University, specializes in the research and treatment of depression. After obtaining her bachelor’s in psychology from Emory University, she graduated from Stony Brook University with a Ph.D. in clinical psychology and completed her clinical internship at the Charleston Consortium. She completed an Advanced Fellowship in Mental Health Research at the Michael J. Crescenz Philadelphia VA Medical Center and the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. She is the author of Activating Happiness: A Jump-Start Guide to Overcoming Low Motivation, Depression, or Just Feeling Stuck.
