Philippa Perry is a psychotherapist and a writer. She has written for the Guardian, The Observer, Time Out and The Times and Psychologies Magazine. She also frequently guests on radio and television programs.

In 2010, Palgrave Macmillan published her graphic novel, Couch Fiction, a case study that attempts to demystify the psychotherapeutic process. In her second book, How To Stay Sane, published by Pan Macmillan with The School of Life in May 2012, she applies principles from psychotherapy, philosophy, coaching and neuroscience to the field of self-help.

She lives in London and Sussex with her husband, the artist Grayson Perry and enjoys gardening, cooking, parties, walking, tweeting (@philippa_perry) and watching telly. They have a grown-up daughter.
