Michael L. Anderson, Ph.D., is the Rotman Professor in Philosophy of Science at the University of Western Ontario. In 2012-13 he was Fellow at the Center for Advanced Study in the Behavioral Sciences, at Stanford.

Anderson studies the functional structure of the brain, networks, neural reuse, network theory, and the various ways we have to begin to think about the brain if we are ever going to understand it.
