Kory Floyd Ph.D.

Kory Floyd, Ph.D., is a professor of health and family communication at Arizona State University. His research focuses on the communication of affection in personal relationships and on the interplay between interpersonal behavior, physiology, and health.  He is the author of multiple books, including Communication Matters (McGraw-Hill); Communicating Affection: Interpersonal Behavior and Social Context (Cambridge); and Interpersonal Communication (McGraw-Hill). He is also on the doctoral faculties of nursing, social psychology, clinical psychology, and family studies. He received his PhD in interpersonal communication from the University of Arizona.
