Dale M. Kushner, MFA, is the founder of The Writer's Place, a literary center in Madison, Wisconsin. She has an MFA in poetry from Vermont College and has served as poetry editor for The Journal of Pastoral Care & Counseling. She was formerly on the core faculty of The Assisi Institute, now called Assisi Institute: The International Center for the Study of Archetypal Patterns.

Her first collection of poetry, M, was published in 2022. The Conditions of Love, Dale’s fiction debut, was published in 2013 and she has recently completed her second novel with the working title The Lie of Forgetting. Her essays have been published widely, including “In Extremis: Jung’s Descent into the Language of Self” in Jung’s Red Book for Our Time: Search for Soul Under Postmodern Conditions, Volume 4.
